Meetings and State Affairs

The American Legion is a membership organization.  Throughout the course of a membership year there are several meetings, conferences, and conventions held to conduct the business of the organization.  Committees meet to plan for programs, review the workings of the organization, and proposes changes through the resolution process.

The American Legion, Department of Michigan works to stay current on the affairs of the legislature in Lansing and the U.S. Congress. The department also maintains relationships with the Michigan National Guard and other security important entities around the state.

Any Legionnaire in good standing may register and attend any meetings of the department or the national organization.
