Department 30-day Meeting

The Department 30-day meeting is the second meeting of the Department Executive Committee.  At one time, this second meeting was to be held within 30-days of the close of the annual convention in June.  

This meeting is used by the department commander to approve committee appointments and chairman positions.  This is an opportunity for chairman of committees to lay out their goals for the coming membership year.

After regular business is completed, the department adjutant conducts a training to teach the members of the DEC their roles and responsibilities.  How to file paperwork properly and to other procedural aspects of their positions.
