Robert Kamin

Duane Miller

I entered into the Air Force in November 1974 and was discharged in 1979. I was trained on Jets with 1 or 2 engines and was stationed at K. I. Sawyer AFB near Gwinn, Michigan. In 1981, I enlisted in the Michigan Army National Guard and worked as an aircraft refueler. A few years later, in 1986, I was offered and accepted an AGR (Active Guard Reserve) full-time job as a Readiness NCO and helicopter aircraft mechanic. I continued this position until retirement in 2006, completing 30 years of combined military service.

I joined the Michigan American Legion on 13 November 1996. I have been Sergeant of Arms,1st Vice, Commander, bar chairman, and now Adjutant with Post 48 in Grand Ledge, Michigan. I have also held District positions as 1st Vice and Commander in 3^rd District.

Jerry Kunzelman

Earned eligibility serving during the Viet Nam Era Army 70-72, Military Police -Germany. I have been a member of Mackinder-Glenn Post 510 for 51 years. For over 100 years, my family members have belonged to the American Legion. I have proudly held post-level positions: Vice Commander, Commander, and ALR Director. at the District, level I have served as Vice Commander and District Commander.

Randy Gilbert

United States Army 1978-1990, I served as a Tanker Instructor, and Platoon Sergeant.

Ray Carlson

I am a Vietnam Brownwater Navy Veteran and a 42 Year Member of the Marquette Post #44. My interest in baseball led me to serve 11 Years as our Post's Baseball Chairman, 6 Years as an American Legion Baseball Coach and 2 Years on the Department’s Baseball Committee.

For 9 Years to present, I have been our Post Finance Officer. Additionally, I spent 2 Years as Post Jr. Vice Commander, 2 Years as Post Sr. Vice Commander and 2 Years as Post Commander.

At the district level, I have been the 12^th District Baseball Chairman for 12 Years, served 2 Years as District Commander, and 10 Years as District Finance Officer (Presently).

I was the 5^th Zone Commander in 2004-2005. I served 1 Year as the Upper Peninsula Association of American Legion Posts Commander and 13 Years UP Association Adjutant. I have also been on Department Finance Committee for 12 Years and spent 4 Years as Chairman.
